Stand Up Paddling
Paramount Stand Up Paddle lessons are held on Tallebudgera and Currumbin Creeks and can be booked at a day/time to suit, however we generally advise conditions are better earlier in the morning or late afternoon.
Stand Up Paddling is fast becoming a popular alternative to traditional surfing due to it’s huge appeal to people of all ages & fitness levels. The majority of our customers are able to do this activity even if they’ve never been on a surfboard before!
The initial paddling technique is taught in calm flat water using specialized softboards which are extremely buoyant & stable, meaning it doesn’t take long before our instructors have you up & gliding along smoothly.
From a fitness point of view the simple act of balancing & paddling engages all your core muscles making it a great total body workout and an excellent cross training activity. Add to this the social & recreational aspects and you’ve got a fun & relaxing way of keeping fit & healthy and an awesome new way to explore the Gold Coasts many beautiful waterways.
Our lessons are held at Tallebudgera Ck in calm flat water using specialised soft boards which are extremely buoyant & stable, meaning it doesn’t take long before our instructors have you up & gliding along smoothly.
